Wellington, New Zealand's vibrant capital city is home to the unique parliament buildings (the Beehive), along with many art galleries, theatres, restaurants and bars. The interactive national museum Te Papa ('Our Place') is one of the city's main attractions and well worth a visit, as is the vast Karori Wildlife Sanctuary on the city's outskirts. The surrounding Wairarapa region is home to the Martinborough wine village and the Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre.
